  • 16-Gauge Posts: Used in all of our standard residential installations, 16-gauge posts are perfect for fence types up to 6 feet tall that will not have a privacy screen. These posts provide a solid balance of strength and affordability, ideal for most residential settings.
  • 20WT Posts: This thickness of fence post is considered heavy-residential or light-commercial use. Occasionally, we will utilize one or two of these higher-strength posts in key locations along the fence. They are typically used for unique situations, such as requirements for stronger gate posts.
  • 40WT Posts: This is a medium-commercial strength post and is rarely used in residential settings. However, if a privacy screen or privacy slats are being added to a chain link fence following construction, all of our posts must be this strength to ensure a strong fence that can withstand the required wind load. Occasionally, we will utilize a single post, placed even deeper in the ground, as a "deadman post," which is a stand-alone gate hinge post designed for maximum durability.
  • 60WT Posts: These are heavy-commercial strength fence posts that are not utilized in residential settings. They are typically reserved for more industrial or heavy-use applications, where maximum strength is required.
