Update 5/3/2026 Nick, Jason, Alex, and Ryder all did an excellent job putting in a Garden Fence as well as a Trellis to hang our bird feeders and plants from. From start to finish the work was performed as expected and the communication was excellent. Thanks Perfect Picket!We had a few challenging aspects to consider when planning for the fence we wanted to have installed. Nick was very knowledgeable and offered several solutions to fit our needs and completed the project exceeding our expectations. We worked with Perfect Picket this fall for 2 of our fence projects. There was an extensive consultation with what we hoped to get, what we thought might work, and what would actually work. They were honest about what wouldn't work, discussing issues we never even thought about; even though this might have lost them business. I had 2 other companies consult on these projects and they only took measurements and gave a quote estimate. Once scheduled, there was consistent communication on materials and timelines. Once the work started, it was very quick and efficient. We are very happy with the final project.

Every step of the process with Perfect Picket was an enjoyable experience. They came down and gave me a consultation and price quote on the same day I called. From there, everything was done with great communication and transparency as they let us know weekly when the project would begin and what it would look like. They were great. They came and worked in very cold conditions to put up my chain link fence that I needed for my American Eskimo dog. It looks wonderful and my dog is happy to have a place to run free without getting lost. They really did a great job .

Do you provide warranties for your fence projects?

Absolutely! We take pride in offering what we believe to be the most extensive and workmanship fence warranties available in the Cedar Valley for residential fencing. With every project, you receive a standard transferable limited lifetime warranty. In addition, we provide unique transferable lifetime warranties tailored to each specific fence type we build, including chain link, treated wooden fences, cedar wooden fences, fence  staining, as well as ornamental aluminum fences and ornamental steel fences!

What is included in your residential fence installation?

At Perfect Picket Fence and Stain, we offer full service residential fence installation and fence design.  

This includes free fence consultations, estimates, and our expert recommendations of the best ways to approach installing a fence in your unique yard.  We will remove and dispose of your old existing fence, apply for appropriate building permits, call for public utility markings, and install your fence with a detail oriented perspective during the entire process.

Do I need a permit for a fence in the Cedar Valley?
Yes, residential fences require permits from your local city permit office in order to legally build. Perfect Picket Fence and Stain ensures that all permits are obtained and approved on your behalf before showing up for installation. If there is ever an issue with the permitting process we meet with city officials to discuss the issue and relay any adjustments needed to you prior to construction beginning.
