I am so glad that I called Perfect Picket first. I needed a falling apart wooden fence replaced. Nick was very friendly and efficient. I got exactly the fence I needed in a timely manner. The crew who put up the fence were great. They checked in a few times to explain what they were doing and in the end to make sure that I was completely satisfied. They hauled away the old fence as part of the deal.

I contacted Nick for a quote but was uncertain about the fence style I wanted. When Nick arrived, he introduced a new style he was developing, and we decided to go with it immediately. We had two sections that just needed closed off with neighbors fence, Nick suggested just using chain link to tie into theirs.We scheduled the work for the following year and have been delighted with it since last spring. Although we encountered some issues with the new style, Nick stood by his work and personally came to address them. I highly recommend Nick and his team for anyone seeking a fence. Thank you! Update 5/3/2026 Nick, Jason, Alex, and Ryder all did an excellent job putting in a Garden Fence as well as a Trellis to hang our bird feeders and plants from. From start to finish the work was performed as expected and the communication was excellent. This review is long overdue. Nick was super easy to work with throughout the entire process. The western red cedar fence looks fantastic. There were a couple small issues after inspecting the fence, and Nick chose to come out and finish everything up and make sure it was perfect even though it was Thanksgiving Day. He went above and beyond our expectations and I would highly recommend him and his crew!

Do you provide warranties for your fence projects?

Absolutely! We take pride in offering what we believe to be the most extensive and workmanship fence warranties available in the Cedar Valley for residential fencing. With every project, you receive a standard transferable limited lifetime warranty. In addition, we provide unique transferable lifetime warranties tailored to each specific fence type we build, including chain link, treated wooden fences, cedar wooden fences, fence  staining, as well as ornamental aluminum fences and ornamental steel fences!

What is included in your residential fence installation?

At Perfect Picket Fence and Stain, we offer full service residential fence installation and fence design.  

This includes free fence consultations, estimates, and our expert recommendations of the best ways to approach installing a fence in your unique yard.  We will remove and dispose of your old existing fence, apply for appropriate building permits, call for public utility markings, and install your fence with a detail oriented perspective during the entire process.

Do I need a permit for a fence in the Cedar Valley?
Yes, residential fences require permits from your local city permit office in order to legally build. Perfect Picket Fence and Stain ensures that all permits are obtained and approved on your behalf before showing up for installation. If there is ever an issue with the permitting process we meet with city officials to discuss the issue and relay any adjustments needed to you prior to construction beginning.
