It was a great experience. I got a few quotes, generally they took several days to get them, and they wanted me to get the permit myself and call IowaOneCall! Nick came over, measured and gave me an accurate quote on the spot and his lead time was the best of the 3. He got the permit and called for the flags. Any delays were communicated well, and I'm very pleased with the results! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My fence was damage in a motor vehicle accident. Niholas came and provided an estimate for a new fence. The NEW fence was installed and looks beautiful. It’s perfectly level and square.The construction is solid and built for Iowa weather. The fence just withstood 70mph winds that downed trees, power lines, and other fences in my neighbor. My fence didn’t budge!Service was courteous and the team was great to work with. Installation was fast! No damage to my wife’s flower beds that are installed up to the fence during installation. Price was affordable-the exact estimate I was given was the final price. I highly recommend using Perfect Picket and will be doing so again.

Absolutely had a great experience with Perfect Picket. We needed our 3 year old fence stained and Nick came out and gave us an estimate we were very happy with. We let him know that we were in no hurry, so the delay due to the VERY wet summer was not an issue for us. When they were able to start, they were very quick and professional. Nick and his crew built my family a beautiful cedar cap and trim privacy fence. He communicated well the entire process from estimate to delivered product. We are very happy with our fence! The quality is true to their name. He’s not happy until your fence is perfect. Do you provide warranties for your fence projects?

Absolutely! We take pride in offering what we believe to be the most extensive and workmanship fence warranties available in the Cedar Valley for residential fencing. With every project, you receive a standard transferable limited lifetime warranty. In addition, we provide unique transferable lifetime warranties tailored to each specific fence type we build, including chain link, treated wooden fences, cedar wooden fences, fence  staining, as well as ornamental aluminum fences and ornamental steel fences!

What is included in your residential fence installation?

At Perfect Picket Fence and Stain, we offer full service residential fence installation and fence design.  

This includes free fence consultations, estimates, and our expert recommendations of the best ways to approach installing a fence in your unique yard.  We will remove and dispose of your old existing fence, apply for appropriate building permits, call for public utility markings, and install your fence with a detail oriented perspective during the entire process.

Do I need a permit for a fence in the Cedar Valley?
Yes, residential fences require permits from your local city permit office in order to legally build. Perfect Picket Fence and Stain ensures that all permits are obtained and approved on your behalf before showing up for installation. If there is ever an issue with the permitting process we meet with city officials to discuss the issue and relay any adjustments needed to you prior to construction beginning.
